AI And Safeguarding Statement

  • Purpose

    • This statement clarifies Asaman Technologies Ltd.’s position on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and safeguarding within our platform. While Asaman does not currently deploy AI or machine learning algorithms, explaining our commitments before introducing any such features is important.

  • Current Practices
    • AI and Machine LearningAsaman does not use artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automated decision-making to process personal data, student information, or institutional content.
    • No Automated ProfilingAsaman does not analyze, score, or predict student behavior, performance, or preferences through automated tools.
    • Human Oversight OnlyAll activity management, scheduling, reporting, and communication functions are performed by humans using rule-based logic, not AI.
  • Future-Ready Commitment

    • Asaman is developing a governance framework for the responsible integration of AI in the future. Our principles will include:

    • Transparency: Schools will be clearly informed of any AI-enabled features before they are activated.
    • Human Control: All AI suggestions or results will require review and approval by school
    • Data Protection by Design: No personal or student data will ever be used to train AI models.
    • Fairness & Safety: Algorithms will be evaluated to prevent bias or
    • Parental Safeguards: No data will ever be collected directly from minors or used to generate student
  • Safeguarding Standards

    • Regardless of AI usage, Asaman follows strict global safeguarding practices:

    • Zero data collection directly from children under 13
    • Mandatory parental or institutional consent for all student records
    • Encrypted storage of all personal data
    • Staff training in data ethics and child protection
  • Review And Update

    • This Statement will be updated before any AI functionality is introduced. A revised AI & Safeguarding Usage Notice will be published on www.asaman.net/terms-and-policies and communicated to all partner schools.
